Paul's preaching here conveys the urgency and necessity to receive Christ as Lord and Savior. There is no "don't worry about it, because you've got plenty of time and God is so loving He'll just wait for you to make a decision" message here. Paul conveys that the religions of the masses are repulsive to God, that God will no longer wait for people to make up their minds, that judgment is coming, and that all must come to Christ as Lord, either in loving reception of Him now or in judgment later. This isn't the four spiritual laws or the "hey, we're all on our journey" proclamation it's often made out to be.
