I'm trying to get a chance to review some books that I've read (or reread) recently. I hope to do so in the coming week. They are:
Lester Grabbe's Ancient Israel: What Do We Know and How Do We Know It
Thom Stark's The Human Faces of God: What Scripture Reveals When It Gets God Wrong (and Why Inerrancy Tries to Hide It)
Richard Hess et al., Critical Issues in Early Israelite History
Hopefully, I'll be able to at least start the list this coming week. I've read Grabbe twice and Stark about four times now, so a review is probably in order.
