I put this on my FB page as a message to all American evangelicals and want to say it again here:
If
Christians are to undergo much suffering as they enter the kingdom of
God, are to have hostility from rulers of the world's system, will be
disciplined for their idolatry and depravity by their Father, and must
live in a world that is "not yet" transformed, then you will not get the
utopia you desire by electing a particular president, regardless of who
is elected today. As God's images, our part in this process is only to
seek to do good in the procreation and preservation of human life around
us by seeking what leaders will also pursue that the best. Beyond that,
it's out of our hands and we look to the kingdom to come, world without
end.
